Peggy Cooper, Controller.  Peggy graduated from Mary Baldwin College with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, with a concentration in Accounting.  Peggy is a licensed CPA and is the Past President of the Roanoke Chapter of the Virginia Society of CPA’s.  Peggy earned the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist designation, a program jointly sponsored by the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.  Peggy demonstrates a vast knowledge of accounting, human resources and administration of employee benefit plans. Most recently she was Accounting Manager at Rutherfoord Insurance Agency before joining the RCC family in 2005.

Dan Wheeler, CGCS, Grounds Superintendent

Dan has been in the golf industry for over 25 years, fifteen of which are in golf course management.  Dan received a degree in Turfgrass Management from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 1993.  Since then, Dan has earned the prestigious title of Certified Golf Course Superintendent by the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America, a title that only 2000 superintendents worldwide share. Dan has served as Board Member and Vice President of the Virginia Turfgrass Association and Board Member and External Vice President of the Virginia Golf Course Superintendents Association.
